Literary Places Sign
Using wood and paint/stain create an arrow sign pointing to a famous literary place. The pictures to the right show examples of signs other people have made. Make sure that you are making one that has not been done before. Two signs are allowed per semester. A sign is one arrow, not the entire stack of places with the pole. Be sure that the text font, colors, etc. all match the theme of the book. Up to 15 points available per sign. |
Book Cover Poster
Create a beautiful piece of art for our classroom! Create a poster size book cover for a book that we have read in class or one that you have read on your own. I want professional looking posters! No messy smudges or quickly scribbled nonsense. You can use any materials to make your poster: paint, colored pencil, collage, canvas, professionally printed, etc. One poster per semester allowed. Up to 15 points allowed per poster. |

Literary & Pop Culture Art
I love art to decorate the classroom! Even more... I love art that is directly related to what we are doing and talking about in class! Create something yourself that you feel represents literature or mythology! To the right you can see examples of some do it yourself projects that others have made online that you could make for class! Click on the picture to enlarge. |
