This example keeps the camera stationary with everything being done in one shot. There is no speaking or text, which yours will need to include. But this is a good example of demonstrating an entire concept efficiently in a short amount of time.

This may not be the most exciting instructional video. Why do you think that is? However some good points from the video include: showing the tools that are needed and explaining what they are called, speaking in a clear slow voice that is easy to understand, and explaining the actions as he is doing them. You will also notice that he uses different camera shots within one video to get a better angle of what he is doing.

In this example she uses different camera angles, lists her materials, and explains through all of the steps. She also decided to use a fast forward motion to get through repeat steps, which saves time and can avoid a boring section. She gives tips and tricks as well as showing examples of different colors and styles that can be used.
